Big-Four accounting firm Ernst & Young has launched their very own app, which helps US users do their taxes on cryptocurrency.
The app is named CryptoPrep, makes it easy for users to aggregate their cryptocurrency transactions, and calculate their capital gains or losses for their tax returns.
To streamline the process, the app accepts imported CSV files containing transaction data, which can be sourced from most cryptocurrency exchanges. API keys can also be used directly from major exchanges.
The Bank of Thailand has announced plans to pilot a central bank digital currency in the country, to test potential use-cases.
The pilot phase will test the concept with large-scale businesses, before it can be used nationwide. Currently, both the country’s biggest building material provider and a prominent fintech firm are planned to participate in the project.
Despite its novelty, Reddit is already looking for a scaling solution for its “Community Points” system, which is based on Ethereum.
It has been announced that Reddit has partnered with the Ethereum Foundation to find a second-layer scaling solution for the system, which will cater to 430 million users of the Reddit website.
The community points are earned by earning upvotes on posts, within the websites various forums.
