British fintech company Revolut has partnered with Paxos, making cryptocurrency trading available to its users in the United States.
Users across 49 states in the US can now both purchase, hold and sell Ethereum via the Revolut app, as well as set up price alerts.
Revolut has offered cryptocurrency services in the UK and wider Europe for some time now, with a wider range of available cryptocurrency assets.
Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group – Japan’s largest financial company – has reportedly created its own stablecoin, which it plans to launch later this year.
The project for their “MUFG” token was initiated all the way back in 2015, and will initially be used for mobile retail payments in partnership with the Recruit Group.
the token will be pegged 1:1 with the Japanese yen.
Evertas, a cryptocurrency insurance start-up, has secured $2.8 million in seed funding, led by Mark Yusko’s Morgan Creek Digital Assets.
The company provides insurance cover to cryptocurrency exchanges, custodians, institutions, and individuals, operating in California s BlockHoldings Insurance Agency.
