The highly anticipated gambling event, 2020 World Series Poker Online rolling on GGPoker, has announced that it has crowned four WSOP bracelet winners up until the Sunday schedule. The team revealed that the two matches that were close to the final were halted till August 1 for resumption after Sunday’s gameplay. The Sunday event was a huge success as it witnessed some of the most amazing clashes between the best players from every corner of the globe. One such dynamic player was Roberto Romanello from Wales, who won the Event #39: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em and claimed victory over Poker’s Triple Crown as an undisputed winner. This exciting match was the first of the GGPoker events scheduled on Sunday and boasted a 922-entrant field with a prize pool of $1,313,850 for the winners. Romanello is a pro player and has previously won the 2010 EPT Prague Main Event and the 2011 WPT Bratislava Main Event. He is the ninth triple crown winner of the GGPoker WSOP event.
Event #32: $100 The Opener that was stopped last week due to a technical issue saw its final stage on Sunday. It kickstarted with 4,599 players resuming from the 29,306-entrant field. The prize pool was $2,571,216 with $265,880 reserved as the top prize. With eleven hours of play on Day 2, Brazil-based Marcelo “Marolo” Jakovljevic Pudla won the first WSOP bracelet by defeating Ronit “Songjoy” Chamani. He became the seventh WSOP bracelet winner from Brazil.
The Event #33: $1,111 Every 1 for Covid Relief was won by Canadian Alex “astazz” Stasiak by defeating Argentina’s Martin “colinchow” Ilobera. He took home the top prize money of $343,204 and his first WSOP bracelet victory. Also, Simon Lofberg became the winner of Event #40: $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha and was rewarded with his first WSOP bracelet and a sum of $224,493 as of the top-prize.
On Tuesday, GGPoker will organize the Event #43: $10,000 Short Deck Championship, on Wednesday it will feature the Event #44: $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed, and on Thursday it will host the Event #45: $840 Bounty No-Limit Hold’em for the poker lovers.
