Top-20 altcoins have also erased most of yesterday’s gains, with Ethereum falling 4%, XRP dropping almost 3%, and Chainlink taking a 6% hit. Cosmos is the only major gainer, with a 10% rise.

Binance.US has expanded its services into the state of Florida, opening its doors to millions of new traders.
The news follows Binance’s recent acquisition of a money transmitter license in Florida, and makes it state number 38 to gain access to the platform’s trading services.
Binance.US plans to continue adding support for the remaining states as the gain approval for further money transmitter licenses.
DeFi protocol Aave has added yet another achievement to its stellar year, surpassing Maker for the number-one spot in total value locked (TVL) in DeFi.
TVL represents the total amount of cryptocurrency assets deposited into the protocol for lending and borrowing markets.
Aave now sits at $1.45 billion, only a whisker above Maker’s $1.44 billion.
Reuters has reported that China plan to roll out their central bank digital currency – a digital yuan – before winter 2022, when it will be ready for use at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
China has been rolling out several pilot programs for the currency, with major trials spanning four major regions.
