👉 Fidelity Investments Files New Bitcoin Fund with SEC

Fidelity Investments president Peter Jubber is reported to have filed paperwork with the SEC regarding a new Bitcoin fund.

The fund was created this year under the name “Wise Origin Bitcoin Index Fund I” and will require a minimum investment of $100,000.

Fidelity launched their cryptocurrency desk, Fidelity Digital Assets, in 2018. They received their NYDFS-issued BitLicense last year.

👉 Libra Association Hires Ex-Homeland Security General Counsel

The Libra Association – the governing body for Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency – has hired former Homeland Security general counsel Steve Bunnell as its new CLO.

The addition is one of multiple former government lawyers hired by the group, in an apparent bid to win over regulators for its cryptocurrency project.

Asian cryptocurrency fund Spartan Black have stated that they believe emerging crypto project Polkadot (DOT) could reach top-3 status by market cap.

Polkadot is already in the top 6 largest coins on the market, following a 200% rise after its Binance listing.
