Binance has announced a farming platform named Binance Launchpool, which will allow users to farm assets by staking tokens.
The platform appears to be Binance’s attempt to join in on cryptocurrency’s decentralized finance (DeFi) farming craze, despite Launchpool not being very decentralized.
Binance Launchpool’s first farmable token will be Bella Protocol, which will be distributed to users who stake BNB, BUSD, and ARPA tokens.
South Korea’s Internet and Security Agency (KISA) plans to release a blockchain-based employee ID system next month via a mobile app.
The system will also issue KISA coins, which will be used to reward top employees. KISA token holders will be able to use them to buy snacks, drinks and office supplies.
A pilot test of the platform is currently underway, with expectations that it will eventually be used across the entire workforce.
The Litecoin Foundation has released an update on its progress on its “MimbleWimble” upgrade, saying that they face no delays on their testnet launch this month.
MimbleWimble is a privacy mechanism, which the Litecoin Foundation have announced that they are applying to the Litecoin protocol.
