MakerDAO users have voted against compensating vault owners for losses from liquidations triggered by the market crash in March this year.
The market crash caused many vaults – which back the Dai stablecoin – to rapidly become under-collateralized and liquidated at outlandishly low prices.
Only 38 Maker (MKR) token holders participated in the vote, with 65% voting against compensation to the affected vault holders.
Popular trading app Robinhood has raised a significant $660 million in Series G funding, from notable investors including crypto investment company Andreessen Horowitz.
The app company, which allows the trading of some cryptocurrencies, plans to use the money to implement cash management and recurring investment features, as well as improve customer experience.
Screenshots of a private telegram group consisting of Ethereum-based influencers have revealed plans to “dump” new cryptocurrency tokens on unsuspecting investors.
The project, known as “FEW”, airdropped tokens to those in the group and appear to make plans to “pump” the near-worthless token for the sole intention of profiting via selling the coin to others.
