Bitcoin’s monstrous run has continued into the new year, posting a new all-time high above $34,000 over the weekend.
A surge in buying activity was observed on Coinbase on Saturday, as analysts likened the activity to Microstrategy’s accumulation of Bitcoin late last year.
Bittrex has delisted three popular privacy-focused cryptocurrencies from its platform: Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), and Dash (DASH).
Prices for each of the coins fell significantly with the announcement, with no details yet provided by Bittrex for the reasoning behind the delisting.
Non-fungible token (NFT) artwork sales struck a new monthly record in December, as CryptoArt.io estimates $8.2 million worth of sales were made.
The figure was more than three times the sale volume in the previous month, which posted $2.6 million in November 2020.
