Top-20 altcoins have had a down day for the majority, with Ethereum falling 5% and XRP dropping 2%. THETA was a positive outlier, entering the top-20 with a gain of almost 19%.

Harvard, Yale and several other colleges are reported to have been buying cryptocurrency directly on exchanges, including Coinbase.
The source claimed that many endowments have been investing in Bitcoin since as early as 2019, allocating “a little bit” to crypto.
The university endowment funds are significant, with that of Harvard measuring at $40 billion in assets, followed by Yale with $30 billion and Michigan with $12.5 billion.
The market cap of decentralized finance (DeFi) projects has reached a significant $45 billion total, with the total value locked (TVL) in the projects also hitting a new high.
TVL – a measure of how much money is being actively utilized in DeFi projects – started the year at $15.6 billion, reaching a peak of over $26.1 billion today.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has stated that they are looking at the necessity of a central bank digital currency.
The RBI had previously displayed interest in the concept, assembling a team in 2018 to research digital currencies to examine if one could benefit the country.
