👉 CME Ethereum Futures Trading To Open Monday

CME Group is set to launch its much-anticipated Ethereum futures trading today, according to an announcement on Twitter.

The ETH futures contracts will be cash-settled, with each contract representing 50 ETH. The minimum trade size will be 5 contracts.

Liquidity for the new contracts will initially be provided by several companies, including BlockFi, Galaxy, Genesis and others.

👉 Nigeria Clarifies Crypto Banking Ban

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has clarified its stance on cryptocurrency following a call to banks to shut down crypto-related accounts.

The CBN stated that the ban was not a new rule, but rather a reinforcement of previously-instated regulation from 2017 which prohibited the ownership or use of cryptocurrencies.
