Inflows into cryptocurrency investment products have already reached a new record in Q1 2021, currently sitting at $4.2 billion.
The figure is already 7.7% higher than Q4 inflows last year ($3.9 billion), with the end of the current quarter still two weeks away.
Five cryptocurrency investment product providers now manage more than a billion dollars of assets each, with the Purpose Bitcoin Fund well on its way to the milestone.
Coinbase’s advanced trader exchange, Coinbase Pro, is adding support for Cardano (ADA), with trading beginning March 18 if enough liquidity is established.
The exchange will only support withdrawals to addresses on the network’s “Shelley” hard-fork, with support for the previous version, “Byron”, to be enabled soon.
Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken plans to go public in 2022 in a direct listing, according to a Kraken spokesperson.
The direct listing route will mean that the exchange will not hold an initial public offering (IPO) or be involved in a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).
