PayPal-owned payments app Venmo has launched support for four different cryptocurrencies, allowing users to buy, hold and sell the assets.
The feature will allow users to invest as little as $1 in Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, as well as share their purchases via their Venmo social feed.
Venmo is one of the United States’ most popular payments services, with over 70 million users.
The Dogecoin frenzy may have come to an end, as the coin drops 21% on April 20th’s “Dogeday” – a meme-inspired day which Dogecoin fans were seeking ambitious price targets.
Doge-themed clones stole the spotlight instead, with significant rises in both SHIB (+95%) and WOGE (+1,058%).
Decentralized exchange Uniswap has deployed its version 3 (V3) contracts to four Ethereum testnets, preparing for its planned May 5 launch date.
The V3 update offers new features such as separate fee tiers (0.05%, 0.30%, and 1.00%) which are expected to reduce impermanent loss for liquidity providers.
