👉 Revolut Announces Bitcoin Withdrawals

European financial app Revolut has enabled withdrawals of Bitcoin from its platform for selected UK customers, with worldwide withdrawals in the works.

The move comes four years after the platform began to offer crypto trading services for the first time, previously only allowing withdrawals in fiat currency.

Limits will be placed on withdrawals to begin, limiting users to between only 500 and 1,000 pounds monthly to up to three external addresses.

An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) request for customer information from crypto exchange Kraken was approved by a US federal court yesterday.

The IRS is seeking the personal information of all Kraken customers who conducted more than $20,000 in cryptocurrency transactions on the platform, in order to identify US taxpayers who have not paid taxes on their crypto.
