👉 El Salvador To Airdrop $117M In BTC To Citizens

El Salvador will be airdropping $30 worth of Bitcoin to all adult citizens who download and verify themselves on the Chivo e-wallet app.

Assuming that around 60% of the 6.5 million citizens of the country are adults, estimates place the total airdrop at about $117 million worth of Bitcoin – 3,440 BTC at current prices.

Bitcoin is set to become legal tender in El Salvador on September 7 of this year, following the approval of a bill earlier this month.
