Crypto market data aggregator CoinMarketCap has launched a built-in token swap feature, using the Uniswap decentralized exchange.
Ethereum-based token pages on the website now feature a swap icon, which enables users to connect to a web 3.0 wallet such as MetaMask to make tokens swaps on Uniswap.
CoinMarketCap has hinted that there may be more decentralized exchange integrations in the future, including the possibility of additional blockchains.
CENTRE’s popular stablecoin USD Coin (USDC) may be expanding to eight to ten further blockchains, according to a draft announcement by the company.
Avalanche, Celo, Flow, Hedera, Kava, Nervos, Polkadot, Stacks, Tezos, and Tron are all possibilities for the expansion, which would put USDC ahead of its rival, Tether (USDT) for presence on the largest number of chains.
