The gross gambling revenue recorded by three casinos in Massachusetts last month was a whopping 84 million dollars. It was also revealed that the revenues were not from poker. The latest revenue figures were released by the Gaming Commission of Massachusetts this Thursday. The casinos in question include Plainridge Park, Encore Boston Harbor, and MGM Springfield. The regulators convened an hour-long meeting post the release of the reports, which mentioned poker not being reinstated by Encore and MGM ever since the shutdowns due to the pandemic. There is no update regarding their reopening either. As a casino housing only slots adjacent to a horse racing track, Plainridge never had any options for poker. While the latter half of 2021 could see MGM and Encore’s websites revisiting poker.
