👉 Facebook’s Digital Wallet “Novi” Ready For Launch

Facebook’s digital currency wallet Novi is “ready to come to market” according to head of Facebook Financial, David Marcus.

Novi has now acquired licensing and approval for almost every state in the US and will likely launch with fiat currency functionality only, for the time being.

Facebook’s stablecoin project Diem, formerly known as Libra, has faced regulatory issues since its introduction in 2019 and is yet to be released.

The operator of darknet Bitcoin mixing service, Helix, has pleaded guilty to laundering more than $300 million in Bitcoin for the mixer’s customers.

Helix operated between 2014 and 2017, allowing users to hide the source or owner of Bitcoins that ran through the service. The bulk of the coins came from Darknet markets.
