Data from Google trends is showing a decline in searches for the terms “Bitcoin” and “DeFi”, which has historically coincided with price dips.
Interest in both search terms peaked at the beginning of September and have since fallen in conjunction with prices of the related assets.
Bitcoin ATM Sighted at Tesla Gigafactory, Musk Plays it Down
A Bitcoin ATM has been spotted within Tesla’s Gigafactory, with Bitcoin ATM company LibertyX confirming that they have installed 3 units on the site for use by employees.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to the Tweet breaking the news with doubt that the claim was “accurate”.
LibertyX’s Bitcoin ATMs can be used to buy Bitcoin quickly and easily using a debit card.
Chinese City Shenzhen to Host Central Bank Digital Currency Lottery
10 million yuan (worth USD$1.49 million) are being put up for grabs in a lottery using China’s central bank digital currency, also known as “DCEP”.
The lottery event is an attempt to promote the new digital currency, and will require participants to sign up using a blockchain-based application.
