Stockholm-based affiliate Leadstar Media has added to their selection of iGaming websites as their newest venture, MyBettingsites.com, becomes the company’s latest project to go live.
Having already enjoyed success in the UK with brands such as Bookies Bonuses and BetBlazers, Leadstar is aiming high with MyBettingsites, which they believe can be established as one of the top bookmaker comparison websites by the time the next football season begins.
The site displays all of the latest bettings offers in the UK, as well as reviewing each bookmaker, plus providing articles that keep betting site enthusiasts informed and up to date on the latest news and features.
Oscar Carlsson, COO and Co-founder of Leadstar Media, is confident that My Betting Sites will soon be profitable, but also has the long game in mind: “This has been in the works for a while now, and we’re delighted to have launched,” he said.
While it is very much a long-term play, we think there’s a good chance that this project will be a big part of our business, maybe as soon as this autumn.
Bookies Bonuses has been one of our flagship products for years, and BetBlazers had a record month in February, so we feel that now is the best time to expand further.
While Bookies Bonuses is primarily focused on promotions and offers, and BetBlazers features expert betting tips, My Betting Sites is centered around the bookmakers themselves, highlighting the best ones for certain features and sports.
By differentiating each brand, Leadstar is able to provide solutions for all aspects of the UK betting sphere, and having separate websites for each area allows the company to go in-depth on each topic and produce more tailored content.
Carlsson highlighted the importance of using data and understanding user behavior to determine how to shape each project:
You have to take learnings from everything you do in this business. With some of our projects, we thought going in one direction was the way forward but the data, over time, told us otherwise. It’s then all about adapting and sometimes completely shifting your focus if you have to.
It took us a while to get BetBlazers to where it is now, and Bookies Bonuses is constantly changing. The idea of My Betting Sites stemmed from learnings that we have taken from both of those projects, and we feel there is a big gap in the market for what we are doing now.
We know what our users are looking for and what they want more of. I’m looking forward to seeing how they respond to My Betting Sites over the coming months and years.
On top of the UK, My Betting Sites also has pages for Canada, Kenya, India and Nigeria, with more to come. Each territory is at a different stage as far as the maturity of the betting market is concerned, and Leadstar Media have staff working in various continents across the globe
Product Director, Jacob Ljunggren, is particularly encouraged by My Betting Sites Kenya: “One aspect of the site I’m very enthusiastic about is the Kenya section,” he said.
The content we are putting out is being received really well by users, and it’s a formula we can certainly replicate across the board in many of our other key territories.
