India’s first-ever National Poker Series is due on April 29th. This grand-scale event is alluring many for competing in the exciting game. This poker series will run from April 29th to May 5th. The Poker series will take place in the PokerBaazi LIVE room in Casino Pride 2, in Panjim, Goa.
Reports suggest that there will be leadboard prizes to be offered in the series. This will include all-expense-paid trips to LA (Las Vegas). This can further present the opportunities to play and compete in some world-class poker tournaments. If you get into the winning circuit then you can get:

The winner of an inter-collegiate poker fest called- ‘PokerBaazi.com’- Jimitesh Singla, an IIM Bangalore student, also shared his excitement about the game. He won the fest, which had more than 300 participants from top Indian colleges such as IIMs, IITs, IMT-Ghaziabad, MDI Gurgaon, reports revealed. On the news of the National Poker Series, he said:
“Traditionally, live poker is seen as a high-stakes game that involves a lot of money, but the NPS gives a chance for everyone to compete. Since it is a nationwide tournament, there is more than just prize money at stake. It’s bragging rights as to who is the best player in the country.”
Another student from IIM Bangalore- Ankit Chaturvedi, who was the runner up of the inter-collegiate poker fest, expressed his appreciation for the game. He further added:
“The venue for the NPS is world-class and with people from all over expected to come, it is comparable to an international experience.”
