The Tezos blockchain has been added to the Rarible NFT marketplace’s current list of blockchain networks.

NFT marketplaces have sprung up all over the place, and now there’s a new one on the scene.

Despite the concerns about the security of these platforms, names like OpenSea, Axie Marketplace, Rarible, SuperRare, Foundation, Larva Labs, and Nifty Gateway have grown in popularity and confidence.

While OpenSea is the market leader, other platforms have shown that they are close to realizing their full potential and may soon overtake the largest NFT marketplace.

Tezos blockchain has been added to the Rarible NFT marketplace’s current roster of blockchain networks, which includes Ethereum, Flow, and Tezos blockchain.

Rarible NFT Competes with OpenSea

The Rarible NFT marketplace appears to be identical to its primary competitor, OpenSea, at first impression. The exchange is one of the first to incorporate DeFi functionality, allowing users to manufacture, buy, and sell NFT tokens.

Rarible, on the other hand, has proved that it has adopted a unique strategy as it has grown, most notably with the issuance of the RARI governance token. The Rarible team wishes to devote more time and resources to the community’s growth and participation with RARI.

Rarible is striving for a multi-chain future in addition to the current largest Ethereum-powered network for NFTs. In November, Rarible gained support for Flow, Dapper Labs’ rapidly expanding blockchain network that hosts the NBA Top Shot.

Shortly after Flow’s introduction, plans for greater Tezos NFT support were disclosed.

Rarible is presently working on deploying the Tezos blockchain after receiving backing from Ethereum and Flow. As part of the strategic cooperation, Rarible will ease the selling and trade of NFTs issued on Tezos, as well as develop a secondary market for those NFTs.

It’s Not Just Ethereum

Tezos blockchain and Ubisoft, a well-known game producer, previously announced a cooperation to deploy the first NFT functionality.

For Hornor, the game firm behind popular titles such as Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, uses the NFT feature – Digits – in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, the latest installment in the Tom Clancy’s series.

Digits, like classic NFTs, are products, accessories, and weapons that players may buy and use in the game. Each has its own set of unique features. However, the gaming community’s reactions are divided.

Many people believe this is just another way for game creators to make money off of players.

Ubisoft Digits will gain immediate trading support from the marketplace, according to Rarible’s release.

Tezos ecosystem has gained significant traction from leading brands, artists, creators, and sport franchises as the place to mint low cost and energy-efficient NFTs…Through this collaboration, Rarible will immediately support secondary sales for Digits: NFTs originating from legacy video game company Ubisoft’s recently launched NFT platform on Tezos. Digits are high-quality, in-game collectibles with active utility value for players, and the first energy-efficient NFTs playable in AAA games made possible through Tezos’ PoS network.

Alex Salnikov, co-founder of Rarible, expressed his comments on the new integration

In addition to the collaboration news, Rarible and Tezos will produce an NFT collection dubbed Blazing Futures on December 15 that will comprise 10 NFTs from Tezos artists and will be available exclusively on the platform.

In celebration of this exciting integration, Rarible and Tezos will also launch an inaugural collection, Blazing Futures, curated by Diane Drubay. Blazing Futures is a drop featuring work from ten Tezos-based artists that will be available exclusively on Rarible starting today.

Many prominent exchanges, such as Binance NFT, FTX.US, and Coinbase NFT, have ramped up their solutions to fight with OpenSea’s dominance in recent years, and the area of NFT marketplace has become a key hub for development.

FTX.US recently added Ethereum functionality, making it the first marketplace platform to allow users to buy and trade NFT on Solana and Ethereum at the same time.

A Friendly Market

Despite the fact that Rarible had a lot of flaws in the beginning. The platform’s capabilities have steadily improved.

The NFT hype must aid the art sector in copyright protection. At the same time, compared to traditional approaches, NFT can preserve valuable works for a longer period of time.

All of these factors have aided the growth of NFT marketplaces. Rarible Messenger, a new tool that allows potential buyers and sellers to communicate directly via wallet address, was debuted in November.
